On the latest episode of “The Story” on Fox News, White House National Security Coordinator regarding Strategic Communications John Kirby said that the sheer number of migrants along the southern border has gone up, but that the number is going up because “the weather is getting cooler and conditions are getting a little bit better.”
Martha MacCallum, the host, asked, “President Biden didn’t mention our southern border at all today. He failed to meet with Mexico or Guatemala’s leaders. You have 9–10 thousand individuals crossing the border at a rate that has never been seen before. How can he not talk about this when he is in New York City and a crisis is happening just under a mile from where he is speaking?”
Kirby said, “Well, Martha, he did talk about the problem of people moving from one area to another in the speech. He discussed the LA Declaration on Migration and assistance for refugees. He recognizes that this has become a regional thing, and he brought it up again in his comments. You are right. Now, more people are moving around in this area than at any time since World War II. And you’re right, the numbers are going up as the weather gets cooler and the conditions get somewhat better.”
MacCallum then asked, “So you’re saying that individuals are coming because of climate change?”
Kirby told him, “No. I am simply talking about how much easier it is to move around now that fall is coming.”
Then MacCallum said, “You had a lot this summer. Now, you have the most people coming through the border since May.”
Then Kirby said, “We’re seeing increases. We don’t disagree with the fact that the number of people is going up. So, we want Congress to cooperate with us and approve the $4 billion extra we requested to help us meet our border security goals. So, we provided $140 million to New York City as well as the state of New York during the current fiscal year, and we have asked for, I believe, $600 million more for the coming year to help with these kinds of things.”
Later, he added, “It is not just the politics or the economy of one country. There are just far more individuals on the move, and there are many reasons for this: drought, famine, political unrest, and so on.”

Why are the Democrats condoning what Biden is doing to them and this country. What he has done is causing problems for everyone, whether you are Democrat or Republican. Everybody, regardless of your political views should be trying to put a stop to what is going on. The country is being over run by illegals, drugs by the tons, criminals of every kind, gang members and even people on the FBI terrorist watch list and we, the taxpayers are having to foot the bill. They are kicking our homeless vets, who have given so much to this country and the people are being kicked out and their rooms given to these illegals.What is happening to this country right now is unbelievable. The fact that the Democrats are condoning this is also unbelievable. THis was once one of the greatest countries in the world. Now it is more like a communist nation, run by a bunch of crooked politicians, Who do not care what happens to this country or the American people. I read where there have been over 7 million illegals crossed the border since Biden too office, and nobody knows how many came across that they don’t know about. Stopping this is the Federal governments job and the states, like Texas are having to do the job the feds are supposed to be doing. It doesn’t make any sense, it is killing our country, and why the Biden Administration and the Democrats want this to happen is a mystery to me. We need to kick out all the crookrd politicians at the next election. Stop voting for these people who are condoning what is happening before we completely love our country for good.
