Marjorie Taylor Greene, a congresswoman, asserts that Representative Mike Johnson’s time as speaker is limited.
She posted the remark on X (Twitter) on Sunday, a few days after Biden signed the $95 billion international aid package.
Increased money is part of the proposal for Israel, Taiwan, and Ukraine.
Rep. Ted Greene (R-Ga.) is adamantly against providing money for Ukraine to fight Russia. Last month, she submitted a motion to oust Speaker Johnson (R-La.).
According to Greene, Johnson will comply with President Biden and Senator Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) in order to retain the speakership.
She reiterated comments she made following the House’s approval of the foreign aid bill, saying that Johnson had betrayed Republicans.
She declared, “This is a sale-out of America today.” “I think every American in this nation should be upset when we have members of Congress flying the Ukrainian flag on the United States House of Representatives while we are doing nothing to safeguard our border.”
Representatives Paul Gosar (R-Arizona) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) back Greene’s move to remove Johnson. It is not yet up for voting.
