After he said he would not be supporting former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie (R) called it “stupid” of President Joe Biden to not have been in touch with him.
Christie stated that, while he would not “vote for Trump under any circumstances,” he would also not be voting for Biden due to his age in an interview with Leigh Ann Caldwell of the Washington Post.
Christie declared, “I am not voting for Trump under any circumstances. That much is clear to me today.” “I will not vote for Trump if he is the only candidate on the ballot because I know him too well, and he is completely unsuitable to be president of the United States in every way you can imagine.”
When asked if Biden had gotten in touch with him since he declared he would not be supporting Trump for president, Christie responded, “He hasn’t.”
“It is just foolish of him to not,” Christie continued.
Christie broke a debate commitment he had made with the Republican National Committee (RNC) to back the Republican presidential nominee when he declared he would not vote for Trump in a January interview with MSNBC.
He has not only been vocal in his opposition to Trump during his reelection campaign, but he has also shown little enthusiasm for Biden.
Christie stated, “I think President Biden is past the sell-by date.” Really, have a look at him.
Christie went on to say that he did not have to “be foolish” in order for “the American people to be stupid enough to pick” Biden and Trump.
In response to a question concerning why he chose not to run for president as a third-party candidate, Christie stated that he could not live with the idea that it would “hurt Biden more” than it would damage Trump.
According to a recent survey by Bloomberg News and Morning Consult, Trump was beating Biden in crucial swing states by a margin of six points.
According to the study, Biden won 43% of the vote in swing states, compared to 49% for Trump. In Michigan, Biden topped Trump by two points, but Trump prevailed in states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, Georgia, and Arizona.

Judging by actual past performance, we know two things …
Trump is fully capable of performing the duties of the presidency.
Biden is not.

I know it may be currently heretical within GOP circles, but I respectfully believe that while Chris Christie is currently reviled in almost every current GOP circle, we still haven’t yet heard his last future political hurrah! Really! Why? I can vividly recall when Richard Nixon said to the press “You won’t have me to kick around anymore!” He subsequently shortly thereafter won a presidential election by a huge plurality! Really! I do think if Chris is to be taken seriously, however, he’s going to have to lose some considerable weight that is doable. The days of electing a proverbial William Howard Taft for president of the U.S., e.g., are forever over in my opinion!
