Republicans will end Congress in a coalition government with Democrats, even though they still retain a tiny majority. Republicans started Congress with an ambitious plan to hold President Joe Biden responsible.
The leadership of the House Democrats said in unison on Tuesday that they would postpone voting on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) motion to remove Speaker Mike Johnson (R-L). The action solidifies a coalition that Johnson formed while in government, relying on Democrats to push his foreign assistance plan following a dramatic reversal of his earlier position that foreign aid would not be considered again until the southern border was secure.
The stunning Democratic statement commended the beleaguered Speaker for his collaboration with President Biden and “traditional Republicans” in a “bipartisan alliance” to “fight back against MAGA radicalism” and release billions of dollars in aid for Gaza and Ukraine.
The leaders said that for months, House Republicans have carelessly postponed vital security support to their democratic partners in the Ukraine, Israel, and the Indo-Pacific region while concurrently obstructing the delivery of relief to vulnerable populations in Gaza, Haiti, and the Sudan. “President Biden created a bipartisan coalition of Democrats and Republicans that allowed us to finally address the national security demands of the American people.
Declaring that it would save Johnson now that the Democratic program had passed Congress, it went on, “At this point, upon completion of our national security task, the time has come to turn the page on this chapter of pro-Putin Republican opposition.”
Their historic declaration came after a House Democratic closed-door meeting on Tuesday, during which several Democrats reportedly stated they would want further concessions from Johnson before they would save him.
Greene hinted that she would compel the Democrats to make a statement.
In response, Greene said, “Mike Johnson is now the Democrat Speaker of the House. What shady backroom bargain did Johnson make for the Democrats’ support?”
“I am a big believer in recorded votes because it gives transparency to our votes and makes the truth visible to every American,” she said. Americans should be able to witness the Uniparty in its entirety. I’m going to host their coming-out celebration soon!
A majority of Democrats supported Johnson’s foreign finance proposal for Ukraine’s aid, despite a majority of Republicans’ concerns. Johnson had historically relied on the minority party to override the apparent majority’s objections in order to carry that package to the floor.
Since the beginning of record-keeping, no Speaker has ever taken a measure like this.

Johnson is plain trash and a traitor. That is all.
I personally Think the Republicans created the demise they are feeling right now. The this or them government that has been created is not good for our country. We have to start letting the majority rule like it was intended to do. Our fore fathers wanted the government to work together not matter whether you are Republican or Democrat. There are democrats that are conservative, just scared to admit it. The senator from West Virginia is a prime example. The problem is the big money GOP and DNC spew out at each election. In order for the people being voted for can receive enough money to get elected. This means the parties not the people are controlling our Congress and Senate in this country. If you believe anything different then you need to look at what is happening in this country. One person is making the decisions for the people by presidential order not Congress voting to make things happen. This is socialist government not a democracy, like Germany, Italy during world war II. Is that the type of structure our founding fathers wanted for the people, not as far as I am concerned. Both parties should be abolished and start over again with the Wigs And whatever other party existed in the beginning.
