MSNBC’s News Reporting in a Nutshell

Have you ever watched Chris Matthews’ show on MSNBC? Not to give the man more ratings than he deserves, but it may just be worth five minutes of your time to help you understand that this meme isn’t much of an exaggeration.

To clarify, we say “five minutes” because that’s our current record for viewing the program without losing our minds.

This is the same network that devoted a considerable amount of time to deliver live coverage of former President Barack Obama ordering a soda at a restaurant during his first few months in office. Did this amount a war on non-carbonated beverages? Of course not. President Trump receives a bit of a different treatment in the news media.

When the president does just about anything, it is reported as being apocalyptic in nature. Trump shows up waving his fists around in front of cheering supporters before boarding a plane? Clearly, it was a snub to the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Trump tosses some paper towels into a crowd of hurricane survivors? Obviously, he’s purposely being insensitive to people who just lost their home.

For everything we have to complain about with MSNBC, we at least give them credit for one thing: they are mostly honest about their shameless leftism. CNN, on the other hand, continues to bill itself as an objective arbiter of truth. By now, we should all know what they really mean…
