Joe Rogan Defends Conservative Singer, Says The Other Side Is Worse

Joe Rogan weighed in on the controversy over Jason Aldean’s country song intended to denounce left-wing riots by drawing comparisons between it and the violence and sexism seen in many rap tracks.

During an interview with professor and novelist Gad Saad, a guest, Rogan made the remarks.

In reference to Aldean’s song, Rogan remarked, “The level of anger is so strange. Now, I am not implying that’s the most amazing song that the world has ever heard, you know, but the degree of outrage displayed by people who are upset over this song is so weird.”

“When there are countless rap tracks that are both entertaining and incomparably worse,” he continued.

Saad chimed in, “Misogynistic, praising violence, the whole thing.”

“Ah, yes! And absolutely no complaints. We’re not even discussing outdated material. There is also fresh material. Hip-hop, crazy rock tunes, and other wild stuff abound; why concentrate on that one?” Rogan went on.

The critique of Aldean’s song, he continued, was particularly absurd given that white people, rather than individuals of color, were largely responsible for the protest violence.

“And the racial factor was wild because, according to my memory, many white folks were involved in the serious Antifa problems that were occurring throughout the Black Lives Matter movement.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Saad said.

“The people who opted to join this movement and break stuff were largely like-minded lost liberal white guys who were really enraged. So, in terms of the racial component of it, the lyrics are not racial,” he said.

Aldean has strenuously rejected the charges that he slipped racist images and lyrics into his song and music video, which were made by left-wing critics. As a result of the response to the controversy surrounding Aldean’s words, the song was removed from the country music station CMT and immediately became extremely popular on iTunes.

    1. Shut down CMT, they are WOKE and we do not need that. The Roits in Portland, LA and many other Cities where far worse than the song. Aldeans song is just a song, there is no violence, Get off your high horse Woke people, Its just a song. A good one at that.

  1. “It applies to thee, not to me” – seems to be the liberal chant these days. buh bye CMT. Another boycott perhaps?
