Sometimes reality intrudes so badly on the left’s narrative that it encapsulates a moment more perfectly than anything we could ever say. The attempted mass shooting in Greenwood, Indiana a few days ago is a great example of this.
The left’s narrative in recent weeks has been that they need to take more of your gun rights away because of the Uvalde, Texas mass shooting. “Give up your guns because the police will protect you.” And yet approximately 400 police had the Uvalde school surrounded for more than an hour.
They callously used hand sanitizer in the hallway as teachers and kids were being shot to death. That’s the police “protecting” us?
Then in the Greenwood Park Mall attack, a mass shooter stepped out of a public restroom to start some mayhem, only to be dropped dead in just 15 seconds by a 22-year-old with a concealed weapon. The hero drilled the attacker 8 times from 40 yards away with his Glock.
15 seconds with an armed civilian on-scene who was obviously well trained in how to use his firearm, versus an hour and 17 minutes in Uvalde. And the Democrats want to take our guns away? How about “No?”
No, no and no to giving up our guns! If we ever do that, they will have complete control over us! They are already acting in a tyrannical manner!
Thank God this young man was there at that moment. Likely saved a lot of lives. What a hero.
And this Administration needs to leave our guns alone.
