One of the things that sent shockwaves through the D.C. Swamp about President Donald J. Trump’s first term in office was that he was serious about the things he ran on. He kept his promises to the voters, or at least fought like hell to make those promises happen (despite no help from Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell).
That hasn’t really been the case with Joe Biden’s campaign promises, as this meme notes. Anyone who was dumb enough to vote for Joe Biden must be walking around like they’ve been slapped really hard in the face. Joe Biden has not kept ANY of his campaign promises.
He hasn’t even managed to shepherd a single piece of legislation through Congress as of this writing. That could change in the next few days as Mitch McConnell and a handful of Senate Republicans look like they’re ready to cave on the infrastructure bill.
But still… Was an infrastructure bill on the list of things that Biden promised to pass to try to make people’s lives better?
Nope!
