President Donald Trump is developing a real talent for getting the Democrats in Congress to do whatever he wants.
If he wants House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to defend socialists and anti-Semites, all he has to do has go on the internet and say that certain people known to espouse such ideologies are bad.
The President has the same talent with the media — which perhaps came from his experience with being in the entertainment industry himself. If he says he likes coke, CNN will start talking about how we should all drink Pepsi. If he pulled a fast one on all of us and decided to start calling himself a transgender communist, the media itself would probably explode — as in a fiery explosion with people dying of pure confusion.
Just recently, he convinced both media pundits and progressive Democrats in Congress to start spreading the lie that Baltimore is a bastion of wealth and prestige. Simply by pointing out that the Democrat-controlled city is infested with rats (which it is), and that the area is famous for its absurd crime rates (see: The Wire on HBO), Democrats are floundering around pretending that Baltimore is perfect.
At this point, Trump should just start going around calling for higher taxes, a weaker military, a larger government, and more welfare programs — just to see how fast the media will start touting right-wing talking points out of instinct.
