Air Force Leader Makes Strange Far-Left Comment

When pressed this week in Congress to justify the Air Force Academy’s support of a fellowship opportunity for “demigender” persons, Lieutenant Gen. Richard Clark, the academy’s superintendent, was unable to define the term “demigender.”

Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) grilled Clark, and Clark conceded that the majority of the combat force is made up of males, most of whom are “cisgender” guys.

Gaetz questioned him over his familiarity with the academy-sponsored Brooke Owens Fellowship. Clark said that he was aware of the fellowship.

Gaetz then questioned him on why, if he supports diversity in the military, the school is endorsing a fellowship that disallows “cisgender” males from applying.

“So, as you stated…It’s all about the fighting power that we draw from, but you’re basically promoting a curriculum in the academies that says, if you are a cisgender woman, a transgender woman, bi-gender an a-gender, two-spirited, demigender — what is a demigender?” Gaetz questioned Clark.

Clark made an effort to avoid answering. “Sir, that’s a — that is a term of the people who are qualified for the specific scholarship that it is available in person to — it is an individual who looks at their gender in a unique way, in an entirely different manner than I do, sir,” he added.

Clark ultimately said, “I’m not entirely sure, sir,” when asked once again what a “demigender” was.

When questioned if he understood what “a-gender” meant, Clark responded, “Sir, I don’t.”

Gaetz reprimanded Clark and said:

“We’re here promoting a fellowship and asking for people, and you don’t even understand what we’re saying. And in the name of diversity, equity, and inclusion, the largest group of people—cisgender men—are excluded. Should we promote policies that we cannot define and that omit the majority group of service members?

The fellowship was defended by Clark, who said that although it was not an Air Force school program, the school did let cadets apply since it provided an “opportunity to develop cadets into warfighters and we strive to find every opportunity that we can.”

Gaetz and other Republicans continued their battle with the Biden administration’s wokeness within the military with the questions.

Democrats contend that diversity is a warfighting necessity and that the military should increase the total number of women, minorities, as well as LGBTQ+ people in order to more accurately reflect America’s population. Republicans counter that the military already happens to be diverse and that the programs divide service members and waste money that would be better used to improve combat readiness and warfighting skills.

Reversing the Department of Defense’s attempts to better integrate “diversity, equity, and inclusion” initiatives across the department and the military, which includes the service academies, was recently accomplished by Republicans in the House through the passage of a measure.

Every year, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which is regarded as a “must-pass” legislation, authorizes DOD expenditures and operations. Before being voted on once more and delivered to the president, it must be reconciled with the Senate’s version. Only then will it become law. However, Democrats have already backed the legislation, and many of the anti-woke elements are anticipated to stay.

  1. I think most Demacrats aren’t for Wokeness themselves. They are just following the leader because they want their Sorros Pay. What weaklings they are in the flesh for something that is sending them straight to Hell in Death.

  2. America is sick. Period. The Republicans better have some really good doctors to fix it – and fast – before its demise can no longer be forestalled.

    1. The only “doctor” that can fix this country is GOD. Until the evil that exists here realizes it is not going to win, the rest of us need to rely on GOD to stay with us and help get this country back to her roots.

  3. Here’s the stinking problem, forcing individualism on a elite team, of war fighters. You do not have a team, The military structure does not align with individual thought, you have to be a team, you train to have each other’s back, when in uniform , you represent the service your in and the United States. Not some made up flag, not some political agenda parade or protest. In fact the UCMJ. Prohibits the above actions. So why are we as a nation giving special treatment, and promoting individualism. I was active duty from 1979-2005 , during my days in uniform , it was dint ask, don’t tell. What you did behind closed doors of your home. Was and should still be your business, only. I knew many that once they put on the uniform, went to work , they were professional, sailors, as soldiers , or airman. We all had pronouns , based on our rates and ranks. You did not force leaders to call out fireman johnny, by his preferred weird made up name. The military is the most diverse group of people in the USA . The ranking structures does not fit equality. In other than a program of total quality leadership. Where all personnel under your charge, have a input of the mission, inclusion is earned as you advance, gain skill. DEI might work in the civil sector, but it will destroy the military as we know it.

    1. Well said. There are tombstones on the graves of my husband and also my dad that give their name , rank and branch of the military. No pronouns at all. It’s a sad day when people (who are low in pay already) get fired for misusing a pronoun.

      1. I,m sorry for both of your losses. The military prefix on thier tombstones says they served honorably and either died in service or were proud of their honorable service.

  4. Demorats are deranged and their crooked leader along with his criminal drugged up son are ruining our Country

  5. Looks like the 2008 election was the Democrats beginning of their destruction, dismantling and racism be instituted in all government branches. It took them 5-6 decades to finally having dumbed down the citizens enough to allow them to install Barry Soetoro.

    1. Bathhouse Barry the illigitimate queer ex-president that the Demoncrats did not properly vet before the elections.
