In an interview with presenter Bret Baier on FNC’s “Special Report” this week, former President Trump claimed that the network’s ratings were falling.
“You might be charged with quite a number of offenses in other cases,” Baier warned. “All of which, according to you, are political witch hunts.”
Trump responded, “Of course, of course.”
“What do you tell the voter who genuinely loved many of your policies but couldn’t stand the scandals, disputes, name-calling, and vitriol?” asked Baier. “What would you say to the voter who is concerned that all would end in a loss in the general election?”
“According to the polls, I’m far ahead of Biden,” stated Trump. “According to the polls, I have a significant advantage over all Republicans—40 percent or more. I’ve never had better poll results than I have right now. This is all seen for what it is by the public. A political witch hunt is underway.”
“More independent voters follow Fox News compared with any other TV source,” according to Baier.
The president observed, “A lot fewer people than used to watch it.”
“They watch,” said Baier.
Trump responded, “Much less, Bret.”
“Those voters generally, generally make up the entire difference in the election,” stated Baier.

Baier showed his true colors in an attempt to defend management at FOX. Independents are the ones turning from FOX to MSNBC after the dismissal of Tucker Carlson and Conservatives are now all in at Newsmax. Complete Witch Hunt! The Democratic Left has been at this ever since President Trump first announced his presidential run for the 2016 election. With all of the claims he has been accused of, every single claim has been proven to be a lie. If you look at all the great advances Trump made in his 4 years in office (and there were many), Jurassic Joe has reversed all the progress of those 4 years plus taken the country to a degenerated level that I’ve never seen in my 60+ years of life. I agree with so many of these comments. Bottom line is do we want to be a socialist country or not? I knew Biden would be bad, but not in my wildest dreams did I think this country could fall so fast in 2.5 years. Everything Biden has touched has been a disaster, but all democrats will be equally as bad once the machine takes over. You could tell early on that baier was a “never Trumper”. The guy is a big bag of wind. The oversite on Fox has that rino paul ryan, and the leaders at fox, the murdoch boys now ruining fox news and fox business channels. Sure is a great opportunity for O’Reilly, Trump, Musk, Ingraham, Hannity, etc. to start a REAL American conservative channel. Let us hope they can rise to the occasion. They would have the highest ratings I believe.
If Trump is the only one choice we have as a conservative, I will vote for him. But, I am tired of his putting down so many of our good conservative Republicans. It’s not professional and it shows a lack of respect for people.For all of those who love his nasty comments, remember this, there are more of us that cringe anytime he says something nasty or just plain mean. We have many friends and family who are turned off by his childlish behavior, AND it does make it harder on us conservatives to defend him.
