Former President Barack Obama failed America on many fronts. In the face of the so-called “great recession,” one of his first acts as president was to implement a “stimulus package” — which essentially handed free money to the very corporations responsible for crashing the market in the first place.
But as bad as the economy was under Obama — which managed to sluggishly recover before being supercharged by the Trump Administration — nothing compares to his complete failure on the foreign policy front. Remember: this is the same person that referred to ISIS as a “JV team” — shortly before the terror group tore through Iraq and Syria and established an oppressive caliphate.
When Iran began acting up, Obama decided to go the appeasement route. His advisers believed that the best way to pacify the extremist regime was to air-drop pallets full of cash, and sign onto a deal that essentially allowed the country to do whatever it wanted as long as they suspended their nuclear ambitions. The key word here is “suspended” — the Iran Nuclear Deal had an expiration date.
Let’s just say that President Donald Trump has a different approach. After years of American soldiers being attacked (and killed), drones being shot down, and allies being threatened, Trump ordered the death of one of the country’s worst influencers.
Talk about a change of pace…
