If you haven’t heard of or seen Daniel Hogg yet, that’s probably because you haven’t tuned into CNN or any other mainstream media outlet in the past two weeks.
17-year-old Hogg is a high school student from Parkland, Florida, and one of the survivors of the brutal mass shooting which took place there earlier in February. Since then, with the help of progressive media elites, Hogg has become the face of the youthful gun control movement supposedly sweeping the nation.
Hogg, who has apparently been dubbed an expert on guns and school shootings (he isn’t either of these) by leftist talking heads, is refusing to attend school until Congress and President Donald Trump “do something” about gun control.
According to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports, the stunt isn’t working.
The poll, released just before March, shows more Americans are blaming government incompetence than the availability of guns for what happened in Parkland. Considering revelations showing armed police failed to respond to the shooting while it was taking place, this isn’t surprising.
Hogg will probably be back in class by the end of the month.
