Welp, you read this on the internet folks — Donald Trump did something ghastly and horrifying, so it must be true, and all of your preconceived opinions about the president have just been verified.
This is what it’s like for those of us with a lot of liberal friends to scroll through our social media feeds. The Trump-bashing by the mainstream media has become so constant that it feels like we’re only a few short steps away from seeing headlines resembling the caption in the image to the left.
Thankfully for the human race, this image is complete satire.
Assuming we don’t have to go over the fact that dinosaurs have been extinct for hundreds of millions of years, everything else about the photo is clearly inaccurate. For anyone who hasn’t read a book about dinosaurs (or at least hasn’t seen any Jurassic Park movies) — that isn’t a stegosaurus. Moreover, it’s doubtful an AR-15 would be of any help if one of them was alive and attacked you. In that situation, gun control would likely be the last thing on your mind.
Hopefully, we don’t ever get to this point — but we’re not holding our breath.
