The possibility of a second American civil war is believed by 41% of voters in a Rasmussen survey. Sixteen percent of these people think it is highly probable.
Nearly half of all Americans think a civil war is highly unlikely to break out in the United States. 10% are unaware.
Voters leaning Republican were also more confident than those leaning Democratic that civil war would break out in the United States, according to the survey. In particular, 32% of independents, 54% of Democrats, and 35% of Republicans think it is fairly probable that the United States will experience a second civil war within the next five years.

Fifty-three percent of 2020 Trump voters think a second civil war is at least somewhat likely to break out in the United States within the next five years. On the other hand, 28% of Biden supporters feel this way. A second civil war is more likely to take place if Biden wins the 2024 presidential election, according to 59% of Trump 2020 voters.
In terms of racial composition, 39% of white voters, 46% of black voters, 51% of Hispanic voters, and 29% of non-black minorities hold the belief that a second civil war is likely to occur in the next five years, at least slightly.
Those with annual incomes above $200,000 are the least likely to anticipate the outbreak of a new civil war over the next five years.
People are prepared to resort to physical violence in order to resolve their political disagreements, indicating a definite climate of tension in the country. People will eventually come to terms with the fact that doing nothing changes nothing.
For the sake of preventing needless violence, it is probable that reform-minded nationalist right-wingers will have to consider peaceful secession in order to prevent needless violence.

Only those who have never seen a Civil War would be in favor of one. A Civil War, can be, and usually is the most brutal, vicious and nasty type of warfare there is.
