In mid-February 2018, policed detained a crazed mass shooter who managed to kill 17 fellow students in Parkland, Florida.
Predictably, the incident was immediately politicized, with the political left repeating their historic calls for mass gun control and confiscation. This has the rest of America asking — how could this have been prevented?
As we have seen through mass killing events in other countries around the world, disarming the American populace is not the “silver bullet” many on the left believe it is. If only there was some other way we could have known that Nikolas Cruz presented a serious threat…
…except there was, according to YouTube commentator Stefan Molyneux.
As the Freedomain Radio host mentions in the tweet cited here, Cruz expressed interest in mass murder far before he actually committed the crime. While the FBI and YouTube were made fully aware of his comment, no action was taken against him.
Perhaps America has less of a gun problem and more of a mental health problem — but the incompetence of other organizations is certainly not helping.
