According to a politician from New Jersey, taxpayers in his state spend more than $7 billion a year on illegal immigrants. Oh, how I long for freedom in America.
The ancient misconception that was formerly spread to legal immigrants to America was that the country’s streets were made of gold. That old proverb implied, however, that anybody could work their way up to material wealth in America, even those who were quite impoverished. However, it appears that the myth is gradually becoming true for undocumented immigrants. According to reports, taxpayers in only one state are paying foreign criminals $7.3 billion annually, and given the Biden border issue, we expect this enormous expense to rise in the near future.
On May 7, state assemblyman Paul Kanitra released a study detailing the extent to which undocumented immigrants deplete New Jersey’s resources. According to Kanitra’s report, “my office team conducted a two-month study project and found that the cost to New Jerseyans for the presence and care of illegal aliens here in New Jersey is at least $7.3 billion a year.”
Once again, that only applies to one state—a state that is somewhat remote from the southern border. Spending billions of dollars on migrant care while Americans are barely scraping by is an unnecessary waste of tax dollars. These individuals do not have the right to be here in the first place. It should come as no surprise that the state government prioritizes illegal aliens over residents, given that Democrats dominate the entire government of New Jersey. All we can do is hope that when they head to the polls in November, New Jerseyans will keep that in mind.
Kanitra’s research went on to say that there are an estimated 892,000 illegal aliens living in New Jersey. The study went into detail on how much it costs each New Jerseyan to keep these illegal immigrants.
“That equates to about $1,600 annually for each of the 4.8 million workers in our state. “From a household perspective, it equates to more than $2,100 annually for each of New Jersey’s 3.4 million families.”
Kanitra went on to say that the report’s figures were “fairly modest,” and that the expenses incurred by illegal immigrants in New Jersey were solely state and local in nature, devoid of any federal funding. If one were to include federal expenses in the total, taxpayers would really spend more than $7.3 billion annually on New Jersey’s illegal alien population. It is outrageous.
“Previous studies [do] demonstrate there are severe disparities in taxes paid by illegal aliens vs. what they receive back in different government services,” the Kanitra study stated, citing the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). Unauthorized immigrants receive government assistance without ever contributing to the system. Not to mention, illegal immigrants commit tens of thousands of crimes in the United States, an issue that is only becoming worse.
Not only do illegals waste federal and state funds, but they also intentionally injure people in the United States. Shocking as it may be, the more than $7 billion that taxpayers in New Jersey spend each year on illegal immigrants only makes up a small portion of the high and terrible costs associated with illegal migration.

He served in our military in WW2 and later continued to serve our nation in many ways. He became the public defender for our county. Shut down the Border
Deport all illegal immigrants back across tbe border then close the border fimish the wall and lock the border up so tight that no one can get in if they do they should be shot. That would put a stop to the invasion. Biden should be held accountable for any crime the illegal immigrants are doing because their his “babies” and should be his personal things to take care of. He ready needs to be in prison for allowing the worst illegal immigrants invasion in history .I hope and pray know one allows them to vote cause that is against our constitution and of course the dam dirty democrats are going against our constitution every day. Ever since Biden took office the changes started so fast the tore down of our country the destroying everything started as soon as Biden hit the white house and its not stopped yet.
