Remember When the Left was FINE With Slandering Children?

If you’ve been on the internet at all over the past few days, you likely noticed one particular face being plastered absolutely everywhere — that is, of course, the face of 16-year-old Swedish student Greta Thunberg.

Thunberg is the flavor of the week because she delivered an emotional address at the United Nations during the so-called “Climate Strike” that’s been taking place there. Now, children do and say a lot of things, most of the time (thankfully) go ignored because they’re children. But, when it’s something the left agrees with, it becomes a shining example of the next generation’s special brilliance.

Now, Thunberg is in fact a child so we’re not going to make fun of her. That is pretty low, and it’s upsetting that other people haven’t seen it that way. But, the nature of her going viral was entirely political — because she made a political statement about climate change. Her appeal was very emotional. So, criticism in that regard is fair game.

But, when conservative students were just standing around when a far-left Native American protester approached them, beat a drum in their faces, and then claimed he was surrounded and threatened it became fashionable to berate children — at least for the media. Keep in mind that that didn’t even happen — video of the event showed the opposite.

In short, the left is full of crap — as it tends to be most of the time.
