We don’t have a lot of nice things to say about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Since the Obama years, she has been pivotal in gas-lighting the most radical political movements, and enabling the far left to take over her party without any resistance at all.
Well, we have no idea how this happened, but we’re almost in a position to actually defend Pelosi now. Yes, things have become that insane — and that stupid.
Late last week, the media’s favorite progressive suggested that the House Speaker wasn’t giving her more radical members more credit because she is — wait for it — racist.
Really sucks when the shoe is on the other foot, doesn’t it Nancy?
That’s right — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says she’s been given a bunch of busy work, because Pelosi doesn’t want young women of color to get ahead in the House of Representatives. That’s incredible, isn’t it?
Obviously, Pelosi isn’t a racist. She’s a pathological liar, and her liberal ideas are completely unworkable — but “racist” is not the right word to describe her.
But this is where our sympathy runs out. You see, Pelosi was part of the group in the late 2000s that would repeatedly call Republicans racist for not lining up to support Barack Obama’s agenda at the time. Pelosi was one of the people that helped create this faux outrage culture. Now that she’s the target, it’s hard to feel bad for her.
