This meme is actually from a couple of years ago, but it made a big resurgence this past week when the media tried its incredibly dumb “flu-rona” scare propaganda. Most of the news reports made it sound like the flu and COVID had gotten together and made a Frankenstein’s monster of a new disease. But it turned out that the patient just had the flu and COVID at the same time.
The image in this meme first surfaced back in April of 2020, in a news report in Italy. That report was explaining how all the intensive care units in Italy were “overwhelmed” with COVID patients, in order to justify keeping all of our national economies shut down. Except they forgot to put the patient’s arm back on before the news crew started taping the segment.
Whoops!
Those poor nurses in that overwhelmed ICU unit! They must have been delayed from making their next synchronized dancing video on TikTok because of having to treat that one-armed mannequin!
Most people responded to the fake “flu-rona” story by shrugging and moving on. It’s been two years of full-on panic from the left over COVID, but normal people are just done with the whole charade.
