Following the massacre at the Nashville Christian school and the bank attack in Louisville, CNN reported on April 22 that women are buying more guns.
Reporters talked with two ladies who had met while shooting “lever action rifles and pistols” at silhouette targets at a gun range on Long Island.
One of the women was looking for her first gun and possesses a firearms permit. “I’m not a complete rookie,” she admitted. “Just getting started. In search of a firearm.”
“I’m a single lady,” the other woman declared. “I live by myself. Why not defend oneself?”
The ladies, according to CNN, are among “an increasing number of Americans, particularly women and people of color, having a lengthy national gun shopping spree – most for the very first time.”
Dr. Matt Miller of Northeastern University claims that only a few years ago, the seeds of the present boom in gun purchases among women and people of color started to take shape.
Miller stated that “sometime between the years 2016 and 2019, the newest gun owners were much more likely to be female and Black than before that and, whether or not it’s in response to feeling like things are spiraling out of control, or that the nation is really divided, that is a tempting speculation that one can make.”
According to the report’s authors, “a horrifying string of mass shootings has sparked increased interest in firearms.”
According to the news, on March 27, 2023, a transgender 28-year-old attacked a Christian school in Nashville and shot and murdered six people.
Five bank employees were killed on April 10 when a portfolio banker opened fire on his coworkers.
Less than two weeks after the incident, the banker’s family reportedly issued a letter to the Daily Mail calling for stricter gun laws.
Fully support all gun rights for law abiding US Citizens. All others not allowed to have any guns/knifes or other weapons.

guns never drag someone in to kill people, the mentally ill drag weapons in to kill people. put the mentally ill into treatment and save lives.
Its very strange that people believe taking guns from law abiding citizens will lower crime. The criminals are not going to turn guns in. So they are only going to get them from people who already obey the laws. So tell me what good will that do. Why is it we have guns to protect ourselves. In times like these when the one party wont protect us but instead defunded the police. Who protects us then. We have to. And again when the one party wants complete control over every one of us and our rights and keep trying to take them away. We also needs these arms to fight for our rights. That should explain it to anyone who is reading the news at all.
If all the guns on earth were to vanish & never reappear, would we finally achieve nirvana, or would we revert to what is used in other third world countries I have been in where the civilians are not allowed to have guns, Machetes??
