Liberal Claims Chanting “USA!” is Racist

By now it should be perfectly clear that there are no signs of national pride the American left isn’t willing to claim is racist or bigoted in some other way.

This tweet, posted by liberal political commentator Sally Kohn, refers to the brief chanting which took place during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, which focused heavily on restoring national pride in the United States.

As we’ve reported, the speech itself was far and away from being a dogmatic, right-wing call to arms. As the White House claimed shortly before the event, the president’s message was primarily one of national unity and patriotism.

It’s interesting to note that Kohn begins this tweet by first claiming to be a patriot herself, before drawing the line between chanting “USA! USA!” and white supremacy. This chant has been a staple of classic Americana for some time, and until now has never really been politicized.

The American left is so obsessed with its opposition to President Trump, it is willing to attack anything remotely related to his persona to undermine him.

One thing is certain — American voters will remember how Democrats and liberal commentators acted when they head to the polls.
