As you can see in this picture, the state of California has gone above and beyond to clean up the streets of its inner cities.
Now, you might be looking at this picture and saying to yourself, “how did this happen?” — well, we’ll tell you.
You see, the problem in places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other large municipalities isn’t the rising number of homeless people, drug addiction, public defecation, and violent crime — those are “Republican talking points” as Bernie Sanders would say. The problem was plastic straws.
Those of us who aren’t xenophobic, bigoted, sexist, climate science deniers understand that plastic straws single-handedly cause every single environmental problem you can think of. If we could just get rid of them, everyone can start driving a Prius. Then, we can implement socialism. It’s a perfect plan.
