Far-Left Bud Light Struggles To Bring Back Customers

In order to entice people to purchase Bud Light and Budweiser beer for the Fourth of July holiday, Anheuser-Busch is launching a campaign.

For purchases of a 15-pack of Budweiser, Budweiser Select, Bud Light, or Budweiser Select 55 purchased between June 15 and July 8, customers will receive a $15 rebate. A digital card will be used to distribute the rebate.

Thus, Anheuser-Busch pays consumers to consume their alcohol in regions of the nation where a 15-pack costs less than $15. The business launched the same campaign during the Memorial Day weekend despite the fact that Bud Light sales have plummeted as a result of a contentious partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

Sales actually hit a record low for the firm, falling 28.5% for the week of June 17. The disappointing result and sales ploy follow Modelo Especial’s ousting of Bud Light as the top beer in America.

The Bud Light brand is being actively repaired by Anheuser-Busch.

For instance, earlier this month, CEO Brendan Whitworth informed clients that “We hear you.” Whitworth pledged in that statement to concentrate corporate efforts on producing quality beer rather than becoming involved in the cultural battle. Whitworth did not, however, apologize to its clients.

The boycott, according to Anheuser-Busch InBev global marketing chief Marcel Marcondes, has served as a “wake-up call” for marketers, who now need to “be extremely humble.”

The criticism is nevertheless spreading to other Anheuser-Busch products. For the week of June 17, sales of Bud Light fell by 28.5%, Budweiser fell by 12.3%, Busch Light fell by 8.1%, and Michelob Ultra fell by 4%.

On the other hand, sales of Modelo, Miller Light, Coors Light, and Yuengling Lager are all increasing.

The status of the marketing executives who received leaves of absence in April when the boycott started has not been disclosed by Anheuser-Busch. But according to The Daily Caller, both have been discreetly fired.
