Elon Musk Blames Facebook for Unrest in Our Banana Republic

Elon Musk hasn’t exactly been shy about his personal loathing of the social media overlords over the years. Musk tweeted this meme the other day as a direct shot across the bow at Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook.

You can’t blame him, can you? For all his faults, Elon Musk is still a pretty interesting guy. He builds electric cars and flamethrowers and is developing his own space program. Take that, nerds who build little websites!

Come to think of it, wouldn’t it be nice if more of our billionaires spent their time building amazing stuff like Musk does, rather than creating social media sites that track us, spy on us, and commoditize us while simultaneously turning all of our political discourse into toxic, nation-destroying poison? Asking for a friend.

Anyway, it’s pretty clear from this meme that Musk directly blames Zuckerberg as the cause of Americans peacefully charging into the US Capitol last week. It’s too bad that no one in the US Congress is bright enough to be able to connect these dots.
