Darth Vader Demonstrates Proper Social Distancing Technique

Here’s a clever Darth Vader/coronavirus mashup that demonstrates the progression of proper choke hold techniques through the stages of a pandemic. Clever!

The whole idea behind choke holds using “The Force” was always kind of silly, but whatever. Here we have Darth Vader doing the hands-on choke in the pre-outbreak period, demonstrating a proper social distancing chokehold, and finally a working-from-home chokehold.

Spoiler alert: Don’t choke people because it’s mean. Plus, in some states, you could be arrested for putting someone in a chokehold. Not that they would keep you in jail in places like New York or California, where they have now eliminated cash bail for crimes like putting people in a chokehold.

Remember back in the good old days when there were lots of memes about things that were unrelated to the coronavirus? Those were good times. Maybe we’ll get back to that again one of these months. In the meantime, we’re stuck with lots and lots of coronavirus memes.

Maybe we’ll go back and watch the original Star Wars trilogy now — you know, since we’re locked inside. But we won’t watch any of those later Star Wars movies, because they were awful. And Han Solo shot first.
