Greta Thunberg asserted in a since-deleted Tweet that we have five years to cease using fossil fuels in order to avert wiping out “all of humanity” starting on June 21, 2018.
Today marks the anniversary of Greta Thunberg’s June 21, 2018, apocalypse prophesy, in which she stated that the human race had five years to stop using fossil fuels or face definite extinction. Thunberg is a Swedish climate activist. She then wrote:
“The whole human race will perish due to climate change if we don’t stop burning fossil fuels throughout the next five years, a leading climate scientist has warned.”
The Streisand Effect has given this particular incident a life of its own because as the deadline drew near, Thunberg was discovered to have deleted the claim. While these troubling, but eventually forgotten warnings that have very definite as well as certain sounding time frames are a significant component of green propaganda, this specific instance ended up taking on a life of its own.
Remembering these deadline forecasts, as was previously said, is risky for the left since, should society truly be past the point of no return, they would lose all political sway. Fact-checkers have made an attempt to undermine the Tweet-delete by pointing out that she stated that mankind would only have enough time to rescue itself this year rather than that it will truly end in 2023. This is evident to anyone with even minimal reading comprehension.
Thunberg definitely doesn’t appear to be acting as though anything has changed today. Indeed, as was reported, she spent this week being arrested for blocking oil tankers, hardly the behavior of a person who has given up on life.

This kid is being used and has absolutely no idea what she is talking about. When she was finally forced to answer questions she stumbled and mumbled making it obvious that she had little to no knowledge of climate issues. Her parents are extremists (Swedish? ) who write scripts for her to follow. I fell sorry for her, but the best thing we could do for her is give her as little media coverage as possible.
