“San Francisco is a significant city with issues,” as Democratic Mayor London Breed recently noted in response to claims that her city is a toxic swamp that is rapidly driving away business.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, a group of teenagers is probably to blame for the assaults on as many as 11 women in the city’s Noe Valley, commonly known as “stroller Valley” due to the large number of young families who still reside there.
According to Thomas Harvey, commander of the Mission Station of the San Francisco Police Dept., the ski mask-wearing suspects robbed and beat up their victims in broad daylight before using a stolen automobile as a getaway car.
The Telegraph claims that at least one victim was battered with a baseball bat and another received a facial blow.
A lady who only went by the name CW told the Telegraph that she believed the police, who are severely understaffed, had “zero interest” in looking into her attack. When she went to pick up her daughter at the nursery, she was robbed and slammed to the ground.
Last week, one young boy was taken into custody, while the others are still at large.
Rafael Mandelman, a Democrat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, which oversees the city, claimed that the teachers’ union-pushed withdrawal of children from schools during the epidemic was partially to blame for the rise in youngsters “doing these truly terrible things.”
“Parents and caregivers were stressed during those few years when education was inconsistent or nonexistent, and everyone was stressed. Probably more vulnerable populations were being impacted by that. Sociologically. Who knows what occurred, but I wouldn’t be shocked if we continued to feel the effects of it for a generation,” said Mandelman.
Additionally, a Democrat, Supervisor Catherine Stefani emphasized the “need for increased police presence in the vicinity, especially considering what is taking place in Noe Valley. Guaranteeing the safety and well-being of people who live there, particularly women, is the number one concern for me and I have requested SFPD to ramp up patrols in the surrounding area.”
