A Quick Look at CNN’s “Greatest Hits” This Month (Oh My…)

It’s been a rough four weeks for “the most trusted name in news.”

President Donald Trump’s favorite rhetorical punching bag really outdid itself in August 2019, starting with April Ryan’s bodyguard being charged with attacking another reporter. Apparently, this was only the beginning of the fake news avalanche.

Anchor Chris Cuomo, in an attempt to fight Italian stereotypes by showcasing how un-mafia like he is, threatened to throw someone down the stairs and break their legs if they continued to liken him to the “dumb brother” from the Godfather films. Way to beat the stereotype there…Fredo.

Don Lemon’s case is still ongoing, so we going dive too far into it. But, there is a delicious irony of CNN hosts being forced to take their own medicine after their cynical hit job on people like Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh going completely unchallenged. The hiring of disgraced liar Andrew McCabe is just icing on the cake.

Remember, just incase you forgot: this is the same network that reported that Catholic high school students surrounded and harassed a Native American protester when the precise opposite happened. We are happy to celebrate whatever trouble the network gets into.
