Try to Contain Yourselves, Boys – Bette Midler is Off the Market

Since all the news is fake these days, one of the only reliable places to find “news” as we used to recognize it is in the magical world of memes. Here’s one that shows the reality of Bette Midler declaring her opposition to the new pro-life bill in Texas, known as the “heartbeat bill.”

If you’ve been following the news at all, you probably saw a headline to the effect that Bette Midler is calling for women to hold a “sex strike” until the democratically approved heartbeat bill in Texas is rescinded. Every single one of those news stories included a picture of Bette Midler from like 40 years ago.

That’s pretty hilarious, because even 40 years ago, Bette Midler was a hard 3 on her very best day, and in no danger whatsoever of having to make a difficult decision about an abortion. Now that she’s in her 70s, she doesn’t exactly have any men dismayed that she’s suddenly on strike and off the market.

The only thing that would make us laugh harder at Midler throwing down the gauntlet in this manner would be if Joy Behar joined Midler in a sex strike.

All men everywhere: “Oh no! How will we survive?!”
