Ah, feminism: the movement that demanded that women get the vote, get paid equally for doing the same work as men, and that women have a voice in our political conversation.
We’re way passed that point. In fact, it’s more than that — we have made several laps around classic feminism. We would go so far as to say that what counted as feminism in 1930 is actually reactionary and patriarchal propaganda in 2019. This image helps explain our point.
The headline isn’t lying: what you’re seeing here is a feminist who smeared her face in menstrual blood because…equality…or something. We’re not entirely sure, actually.
Feminism today is closer to what political scientists call critical theory: which is a fancy word for Marxism. In essence, it states that classical hierarchies limit society’s growth, and the only way to defeat them is to destroy every single societal tradition in existence. As you can see, this sentiment is often brought to extremes. We’re supposed to look at this image not in disgust, but rather in admiration. What a brave thing to do…to cover your body in its own fluids for equality. So brave.
