The Questions the Press Should be Asking Biden (But Won’t)

Every once in a while a big, momentous, photogenic incident takes place somewhere in the world that everyone is talking about – and then the meme makers tear it to shreds. The latest iconic moment like that was when this big old ship managed to – somehow – go all sidewinder in the Suez Canal and place a stranglehold on one of the world’s biggest shipping routes.

Many of thought that the people in charge had to be pranking us with their efforts to “unstick” the ship. In this photo you’ll notice the dinky little tractor next to the ship, which was supposed to… well… we’re not even sure what’s happening here. But we could all tell it wasn’t up to the job.

If you have a toddler around the house, they probably came up with better ideas for dislodging the big boat!

That’s why the ship and the efforts to free it from its self-imposed captivity was a good metaphor for the lickspittle media’s relationship with Joe Biden. There’s a lot of pretty important stuff they could be asking Biden about, especially the border with Mexico. Instead, we’re hearing lots and lots of stories about Biden’s dogs for some reason.
