The Dumbest Defense of FDR Ever

In what could possibly be the most brain-dead justification for democratic socialism ever discovered, liberal content creators like the one responsible for this meme are seriously celebrating Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s gross misuse of power during his presidency.

Since the end of World War II, FDR has become a romanticized figure in American history — the same way (and for the same reason) Winston Churchill is a legendary figure in the United Kingdom. However, too few Americans have a real understanding of what Roosevelt’s presidency was really like.

Outside of his clever approach for defeating the Nazis and Japanese Empire (ie, letting the generals figure it out), the Roosevelt administration has a pretty bleak legacy. In addition to throwing Japanese-Americans into internment camps, Roosevelt’s big government policies prolonged the Great Depression, and created a culture of widespread corruption within Washington, DC.

Among these crimes include court-packing, over-regulating industries, and taking an openly hostile attitude toward free speech.

Essentially, FDR was responsible for all of the things the mainstream media now accuses President Donald Trump of doing…
