Proof the Left Doesn’t Care About Personal Responsibility

At the core of most leftist ideologies is the idea that the underclass is devoid of wealth for reasons far beyond its control — and that personal strife can be entirely explained away by environmental factors.

In this image, posted by left-wing meme factor Occupy Democrats on Facebook, we see a short list of items designed to make its followers upset at the rich and sympathetic to the working class — which is of course exploited by wealthy sycophants. Single parenthood, it seems, happens entirely by accident.

This is of course absurd. While there are certainly exceptions, the majority of single parenthood cases occur at the fault of the parents themselves. Individuals choose to become intimate with the wrong person — or perhaps do so at an age where parenting is simply improbable.

There are three simple ways to avoid being poor: graduate from high school, get married, and refrain from having children out of wedlock. While this alone certainly won’t make you rich, it’s a tried and true way to avoid depending on a minimum wage or government assistance.
