Jussie Smollett is Going to be a Meme for the Rest of His Life

Empire actor Jussie Smollett probably thought convincing the media to fully buy in to his “hate crime” hoax was going to be easy — and he was 100 percent right.

It doesn’t matter that Smollett wasn’t a household name until about a week ago. It doesn’t matter that there was never any evidence of the non-existent hate crime to begin with. All he had to do was say he was “attacked” by some Trump supporters at 2am in Chicago in the middle of a blizzard, and he understood that CNN and everyone else in the mainstream media was going to run with it without question.

And this meme is right — it really says a lot about our country when the supposedly “racist” crime didn’t actually happen. It also tells us a lot about the reactionary nature of the left. It was barely a fortnight ago when every single media outlet in the country was telling us that the Covington kids were racist with precisely zero evidence. They’ve been exposed at least twice within a month.

Better than that, it shows you how awesome America is — you can’t even convince people do this without faking the entire thing.
