‘Intersex’ Blogger Triggered by a MAGA Hat

This tweet is almost as confusing and frustrating as this social media user’s username.

In what we can assume to be a play on the idea that Americans are scared to board planes with Muslims or any other religious minority known to wear headdresses, Twitter user and “intersex” blogger #intsxsurgeryispetty appeared to snap a picture of a Trump supporter while traveling.

The “headdress” in question is obviously the “Make America Great Again” hat popularized by President Donald Trump’s campaign in 2016. Apparently, just the sight of someone with a different political opinion counts as threatening in this blogger’s eyes.

This underscores perhaps the biggest problem with the contemporary left. Trump supporters, in their view, aren’t just people with a dissenting opinion — they’re a threat to their very existence. Of course, this is an odd assumption considering Trump supporters aren’t exactly known for being overtly violent or abusive, but it’s the narrative the mainstream media has fed them time and time again.

Obviously, there is some attempt at humor here, but it’s hard to feel anything but depressed by looking at this image. If the contemporary left continues to resist any and all forms of cultural unity, the cultural divides they claim are hurting their cause will only continue.
