How Would Forrest Gump Have Handled the Afghanistan Withdrawal?

He may have been a little slow at times, but Forrest Gump’s momma didn’t raise no dummy. If you saw the hit film about Forrest Gump in the 1990s (and you totally did because you’re an American and by the way who in the world hasn’t seen ‘Forrest Gump?’), then you already know that Forrest went back to rescue Bubba and Lieutenant Dan in the film.

Forrest didn’t leave anyone behind. Because even though he was a little slow, Forrest Gump had an actual sense of honor and was a patriotic American. Joe Biden and the generals in charge of the US military today? Not so much!

To this day, the US State Department doesn’t have a good answer when asked how many Americans were actually stranded in Afghanistan to die at the hands of the Taliban after being used as political pawns. We know there are roughly 30 schoolchildren from California stuck there, who were in Afghanistan this summer on a school trip for some reason.

It’s tough to blame those kids for that situation, but good grief – what were the parents of those kids thinking by sending their offspring to Afghanistan this year??

Some estimates say that there are still thousands of Americans still stuck there – but the government has no idea. The only thing we know for certain is that Forrest Gump is smarter than Joe Biden.
