You’ve heard it way more times than it’s possible to count at this point: that President Donald Trump is somehow a modern parallel to Adolf Hitler.
The radical left has been trying to push this view since the early days of Trump’s candidacy, and managed to bait mainstream pundits into spewing the same rhetoric. However, the narrative’s popularity doesn’t make it any less absurd.
The “literally Hitler” routine just became a lot more difficult to understand, as President Trump recently made good on his promise to formally recognize Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel, and the spiritual home for the Jewish people.
Boy, what a total Nazi…
Ironically, those who have been the most hostile toward the move have been Democrats — despite the fact that they have supported doing exactly this numerous times in the past. Even Barack Obama promised to speak out on this issue, but became silent on it after being sworn into office.
