This meme is actually more than a year old, but it resurfaced on April Fool’s Day this year because it seems appropriate given the coronavirus lockdowns. The meme first appeared on Facebook in 2019 (don’t quote us on that, it might have even been 2018).
Anyway, how is everyone’s stay at home and don’t go outside experience going? Ordering more stuff on Amazon lately, hmm?
We have a coronavirus protocol in place here at the Facts Not Memes mobile headquarters for whenever an Amazon package arrives. We send Todd out in a full hazmat suit to open the package and burn the Amazon box in an incinerator before bringing items inside. (No one at the office likes Todd anyway.)
We have actually noticed one positive thing about Amazon purchases and the coronavirus lockdowns, however. There aren’t any porch pirates running around stealing everyone’s Amazon packages, thanks to the lockdowns. Silver lining!
Plus, we’ve got to hand it to the Amazon workers and delivery people who are still bringing stuff to all of our homes. Not all heroes wear capes.
