Tom Cruise Proves Hollywood Could Still Make Good Movies if They Wanted To

If you haven’t caught “Top Gun: Maverick” in the movie theater yet, it’s well worth your time and a few bucks to go see it. There’s not a whiff of Hollywood wokeness to the film. That’s because Tom Cruise probably fought the movie studio fiercely to get the movie made in such a way that it wouldn’t offend or infuriate normal people.

In the film, the military is cool, Americans are the good guys, and there’s not a single instance of wokeness. Val Kilmer even reprises his role as Iceman, in a bittersweet scene that will probably be his last film role before he passes away.

We don’t want to give away any spoilers, other than to say the film is great and it’s unlike 99% of the woke dreck that Hollywood is producing these days. You’ll like it. It’s fun, it’s funny, and it’s well deserving of all the cash it’s raked in so far.

Tom Cruise just enjoyed the biggest opening weekend of his career, and he did it by not trashing his audience or the original source material movie. Unlike a certain other sequel mentioned in this meme.
