An investigation exposed the open sale of social security cards and black market phony green cards to undocumented immigrants in New York City.
This week in Queens, criminals connected to MS-13 and other gangs have been observed peddling the fake documents, according to a report by the New York Post.
The publication said that at least 10 guys were “camped out in plain daylight at four locations in Queens,” selling the fake cards for between $80 and $250.
According to associate professor Roy Fenoff of the Citadel’s Dept. of Criminal Justice in South Carolina, the documents provide migrants with access to nearly everything that a citizen possesses.
He said that “people may work, travel, and access a lot of elements and services in the United States once they have these false IDs.” “Someones who have other objectives and are not here only to obtain a job are receiving these cards, which enables them to carry out illegal behavior.”
The numbers on the fictitious social security cards may really belong to actual US citizens.
“You may have warrants out for the arrest of innocent individuals if I conduct crimes using someone else’s social security number and use their name, since you don’t really know who he was,” Fenoff stated.
A person with malicious intent may use the fictitious identification cards, according to Bruce Foucart, a retired special agent overseeing DHS investigations.
Illegal immigrants may “load up a vehicle with bombs… and carry it underneath the Holland Tunnel and produce something large and tragic,” Foucart threatened, using fictitious identification.
“It’s simple to build this second existence within the US for someone who wants to commit terrorist activities or is a threat to national security,” the man stated.
“At this point, I promise, all we’re doing is waiting for another 9/11.”
The hawkers are associated with both MS-13 and the 18th Street gang, a police source told the Post.
“It’s a huge industry,” the person stated.
The Post also stated that law enforcement regards Roosevelt Avenue as the “East Coast hotspot” for forged identification documents.
One neighborhood citizen and store employee on the avenue said, “If they’re doing social security number [sic] and nobody says s-t, next time it’ll be firearms and passports.” “Now everyone is free to do what they like.”
A further neighbor stated, “People from other boroughs are going expressly to this location to acquire the IDs, all the new migrants are flocking here.”
By providing false names to law enforcement, illegal aliens can even avoid prosecution.
“They can be arrested five, six, seven, or eight times under a false identity if they have never had their fingerprints taken before. According to John Cutter, a retired NYPD deputy head of the Intelligence Division, “and they themselves would never have a record.”
“They turn into a ghost when they use phony IDs, which gives them greater confidence to breach the law and perhaps commit extremely terrible crimes,” he continued.
The brother of suspected illegal immigrant Jose Antonio Ibarra, who killed nursing student Laken Riley, age 22, is facing charges for allegedly having a phony green card that he used to apply for a job at the University of Georgia.
Breitbart News stated that Diego Ibarra, 29, was arrested by the local Sheriff’s Office after he was dismissed from his position as a dishwasher at one of the school’s dining halls for not providing enough identification credentials.
As per the report by the New York Post, Diego has been associated with a violent Venezuelan gang.
I hope Biden and the Democrats that condones what he has done is happy with what is happening here in this once-great country. I am 93 years old and never seen or dreamed this country would ever be in the mess it is in right now and some people thinking that this man is doing such a great job.
