Gas has already climbed above $6 a gallon in Los Angeles, and it’s not out of the realm of possibility for it to hit $10 a gallon this year. Why are the Russian sanctions going to hurt “we the people” here in America?
Because we currently import 209,000 barrels of oil per day from Russia, and another 500,000 barrels of gasoline. Every. Single. Day. If you gas up your car these days, there’s a pretty good chance that the fuel came from Russia.
After Joe Biden deliberately choked off domestic oil production to hurt you and I, Russia became the number one exporter that we buy petroleum products from (Saudi Arabia is a close second). So, how does irritating Vladimir Putin help the situation for the American people?
