This week, Vice President Kamala Harris disclosed that the government would compensate university students for registering voters.
According to Harris, students may be eligible to earn money through the federal work-study program, which covers the cost of a student’s salary while they work a part-time job.
“We have been working to encourage student voting turnout,” Harris stated. For instance, we now let students receive compensation via Federal Work-Study for conducting nonpartisan polls and registering voters.
This is significant, as is well known, for several reasons. She said, “The first is to include our young leaders in this process and activate them in terms of their potential to fortify our communities.
Many people opposed the vice president’s idea because they thought it would be a political use of public money.
Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) stated on X that “Biden issued EO14019 instructing the federal government to utilize taxpayer money to rally his voters. I’ve asked Congress for @StephenM’s FOIAed information, but Biden is withholding it. It sounds like the strategy for the election year is in motion.”
MyNBC has reported that several polls show young people to be almost evenly divided between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.
It went on, “If the two candidates were running for office right now, 52% of voters would choose Joe Biden, while 48% would support former President Trump, the likely GOP nominee.” Voters in Generation Z and Millennials may prove to be an important group in the election.”

This is a clear conflict of interest and an obvious ploy to garner votes. Unfortunately too many young people today, especially college students, can’t see beyond their noses as to what the end game here is, and also can’t fanthom what the consequences of Biden’s border dissolution will do to this country.
