Governor Gavin Newsom (D) said this week that parents shouldn’t worry about California’s rules that say schools can’t tell parents when their kids say they want to change their gender.
California has an intense dispute going on about this problem. Newsom’s admin. has filed suit against a school district in Chino Valley, Riverside County, which recently passed a family notice policy by a vote of 4-1.
At the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Newsom made an appearance in the spin room following the second Republican presidential primary debate. Before being asked a question by Breitbart News, he spoke negatively about the candidates on stage.
“Why should parents not be aware if their children are transitioning while at school?” asked Breitbart News.
Newsom: “That’s a weird thing—you’re talking about 1% of the people in the world. Even though climate change will affect everyone, it didn’t even come up, and we’re discussing trans issues?”
Broadcast News: “This is a problem in California.”
“It’s a big deal for parents,” said the other reporter.
“This has become a front-and-center issue for America.”
“Why should parents not know?” asked Breitbart News.
Newsom: “It’s the greatest distraction. It’s a standard and one of the best ways to get distracted. One percent of the people who live in the United States. These kids only want to live.”
The Breitbart News asked, “Why can’t their parents know?”
“The kids only want to live,” Newsom said. “And we’re arguing about trans issues? In Reagan’s library? You should feel embarrassed.”
84% of California voters agree with parental notice laws, according to a new Rasmussen study. The government says that these rules violate kids’ rights because they could lead to bullying at school.
At the beginning of the month, Newsom said that Republicans had “ginned up” parents who were concerned about the problem.

Gavin Newsom is a criminal. If memory serves me right, he likes to play on both sides of the field himself. So why would he care of your child is confused about his or her gender. Both Gavin and his aunt Nancy Pelosi, want to play God. They should be in prison along with all the other traders to the American public.

Newsome is one of the biggest supporters of the “left wing” liberals. He has been running around the Country saying “I am not running for President”, followed by (softly spoken) “yet”. He only in politics for the “glory, attention, notoriety, and the money”. Like with most political members of Congress, he is driven by those four motives. He has made laws or requirements, that has turned California into “a state of disrepair”. Gas prices way out range, no new vehicles that are gas powered after 2045, only mail-in voting (if you want to vote in person, you turn your mail in ballot, then vote), AI vehicles and trucks are being used in big cities, etc, etc, etc. During the “shutdown of 2020”, his restaurant in Napa Ca. stayed open, and masks were not required, but all the other restaurants were either shutdown or only open for take-out. Talk about “privilege characters. He will continue the “destruction” of the United States that Biden has started, if he gets elected to the Presidency.
