In what was almost music to the ears of Americans, Joe Biden and even many Republicans in the US Senate are clamoring to send US troops to protect the border. They’re going to put “boots on the ground,” baby! One GOP Senator says they might even use a nuclear first strike to protect territorial sovereignty from an invasion.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that they’re not talking about the US-Mexico border. They’re talking about protecting the eastern border of Ukraine, a country that most Americans could not find on a map if you held a gun to their heads.
Ukraine serves absolutely no national security interest to the United States. It never has and it probably never will.
But the insane foreign policy establishment in DC has such a deep hatred for Vladimir Putin that they are willing to risk a nuclear war over Ukraine to satisfy their blood lust. Despite everything that the CIA/media keeps telling us, Putin doesn’t want Ukraine.
He doesn’t want to usurp it and he doesn’t want to rule over the Ukrainian people. The only thing Putin wants is to keep NATO out of Ukraine and to keep control of the port at Sevastopol.
