Nikki Haley’s campaign is done, she knows. Though it happened more than a month ago, she won’t acknowledge it in public. She acts as though she has won after every heartbreaking defeat, acting as though Republican primary voters are telling her to keep going.
Nikki Haley’s campaign will conclude on Saturday in her home state, which Trump strategists Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles claim is “appropriate” because those people “know her the best,” stating that “the end is close” for Haley. PJ Media obtained a copy of this campaign document.
The vicious memo goes on:
“Of course, we should expect more references to Kings and Coronations—even though the results of five elections clearly sent a message that Nikki Haley does not represent Republicans any more than Joe Biden does. After all, she is a crying loser who is hell-bent on creating an alternate reality and refusing to accept her impending political mortality.”
However, their shared goal is to attack Donald Trump by whatever means necessary. Rinos Nikki and her group have determined that it is OK to approach national leftists for financial support, accept their contributions, and try to influence GOP primary elections nationwide by wooing Democrats. That is a stain that is permanent.”
The memorandum continued, citing Trump’s unparalleled campaign organization in Iowa, his two-to-one lead over Haley in Nevada, where he received more primary votes than any other presidential candidate, and “none of the above” as evidence of the political fervor behind his campaign.
In this material, LaCivita and Wiles went on to describe “the extremely significant math issue Nikki Haley has.”
“As of right now, President Trump has sixty-three delegates,” they said. “The week after the South Carolina Primary, President Trump would receive 114 delegates if we were extremely generous and used a ‘worst case’ model that took into account Nikki Haley’s defeat in New Hampshire throughout the remaining states and Congressional Districts. In this Nikki-friendly scenario, President Trump would win 773 delegates on Super Tuesday. After Super Tuesday, over the next two weeks, President Trump will earn an additional 162 delegates. Furthermore, on March 19, President Trump would secure the Republican nomination for president under this most magnanimous model for Nikki.”
If polling data were to replace our model and determine the outcome, Trump would have most likely won the nomination and 1,223 delegates a week earlier.
Why, therefore, is Nikki Haley continuing the race? When Laura Ingraham of Fox News posed this query to Trump on Tuesday night, he responded with his own hypothesis.
“To be honest, I don’t think she understands how to escape. I honestly don’t,” he remarked. “She performed appallingly in New Hampshire; the sole vote she received was—”
However, Ingraham pointed out, “she’s got a lot of money behind her.” “What do they anticipate doing?”
“Well, the Democrats are giving her money, and she’s playing the game, so they’re trying to destroy me because of the general election, and I think she simply can’t go out on her own.” The polls are not kind to her. Look, I don’t understand if she was doing well. But her performance is appalling.”
Whatever Haley’s motivations for sticking in, they don’t bode well for the party; there’s no denying that she has no chance of winning.
