Former President Trump stated on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” last Tuesday that he is not going to withdraw from the 2024 campaign even if he is convicted in a New York lawsuit regarding alleged hush-money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
“So they are attempting to stop you from making it to the general election?” host Tucker Carlson inquired.
“Yes,” Trump said.
“By tying you up with lawsuits charging you with various crimes,” Carlson added.
“The old Soviet process,” Trump stated.
“The old Soviet process,” Carlson explained. “You’ve characterized everything as legal. How would you react if this went to trial and you were convicted in the thick of a presidential campaign?”
“It is so far past the statute of limitations, years away, it is hard to believe,” Trump added. “Usually, when anything like this happens, the Democrats accuse him of being really guilty. Democrats have even stated, I am innocent.”
“Is there anything they could legally throw at you that would convince you to drop out of the race?” Carlson inquired. “Would you drop out if you were convicted in this instance in New York?”
“No, I would never drop — it’s just not my thing,” Trump said. “I’m not going to do it.”
Time for President Trump to plan what strategies he will make in ridding this country of the crooked DA’s
that have tried to destroy our justice system, by bringing false allegations against Trump, and allowing
criminals to be free, after crimes happened.
Biden can be impeached with the ‘War Powers Act’. Problem solved.
