We’re not going to go into great detail when it comes to the joke in this meme, because we’re a family-friendly site and every adult probably gets the joke. The amazing thing about this is that CNN didn’t fire Jeffrey Toobin for his birthday suit incident – but they fired their #1 anchor Chris Cuomo because of unexplained reasons.
This is pretty amazing actually, because CNN typically doesn’t fire anyone – ever – under any circumstances, no matter how lurid or depraved their on-air personalities are in their various public scandals. So… why did Chris Cuomo get fired?
If you don’t believe us, keep in mind what Jeffrey Toobin did (sorry for the nightmares with that mental image). Or Don Lemon! Don Lemon is being sued right now in civil court for a disgusting sexual assault against a poor male bartender in a gay bar. There were eyewitnesses to that incident and legal experts say Lemon will undoubtedly lose the case. But he still has a job!
And look up CNN International anchor Richard Quest’s spectacular arrest in 2008 in Central Park, New York sometime. (Trust us, it is the most hilarious arrest in Central Park ever – and that’s saying something.) Richard Quest got a promotion after that!
It really makes you wonder what Chris Cuomo did for him to get fired, when CNN has refused to fire the other pack of weirdoes that they employ!
They know they won’t have to fire the mentioned people because they will be in jail. (No unemployment benefits.)
