A wet market was the source of the infection.
This is not anything you could make up. I actually started to think the world had gone insane at that point. Millions of people agreed with this ridiculous explanation, and anyone who disagreed with our leaders or the media was shamed, punished, or silenced.
While many are urging forgiveness, few are actually making amends. This is true even when mask effectiveness is questioned, vaccines don’t always work as promised, and the harm caused by lockdowns is becoming increasingly obvious every day.
However, not everyone will be able to forget and forgive:
Republicans on the House Oversight committee said earlier this month that they will look into the beginnings of COVID and whether American funding was transferred to the Wuhan Lab. They commented on the Energy Department report as follows:
On the Committee’s website, Chairman James Comer (R-KY) formerly described his efforts as follows:
“Serious concerns concerning the utilization of taxpayer funds for gain-of-function research and the timing of when U.S. health officials learned about the WIV’s contribution to the COVID-19 pandemic are raised by the interaction between the NIH, the WIV, and EcoHealth. The American people and the public health community, including the NIH, deserve to know the truth. The facts will help American public health authorities stop and lessen the effects of upcoming global pandemics.”
Now that the nation has been shocked by a new Energy Department study, Comer is appearing surprisingly prescient. Additionally, Republican Ohio Representative Jim Jordan tweeted, “So the government caught up to what the Real America knew all along.”
The Washington Post’s “fact-checker,” Glenn Kessler, sought to humiliate Senator Ted Cruz in 2020 by tweeting, “We deal in facts, and viewers can judge for themselves,” but as my colleague, Bonchie documented, Cruz ended up having the last laugh. You do deal in facts, Glenn, they’re simply wrong facts.
Jonathan Turley, a lawyer and professor at the George Washington University Law School who is not a Republican, published an excellent article in the New York Post on Sunday that serves as a timely reminder of how out of control our government and media were during the tumultuous days of the pandemic:
“The censoring, not the science, was, in my opinion, the most concerning aspect of the government response.”
“The roots of COVID-19 will continue to be a topic of discussion, but the discussion will now take place.”
“For years, the government and the media collaborated to label anyone voicing a lab theory as either a conspiracy theorist, a racist, or both.”
“If he dies, he dies”! Pretty much sums it up in a nut shell. That’s how The Biden Administration thought then and now! They (Biden Admin.) thinks the same of The People of Palestine, Ohio, Biden won’t even mark a date to go. Bet he goes to Delaware this weekend? The GREAT UNIFIER! Nothing further from “The Truth”!
