New Biden vs Trump Poll Has Democrats Speechless

According to a recent I&I/TIPP Polls survey, former President Donald Trump receives much more support from his Republican base than President Joe Biden does from Dems.

Both Democrats and Republicans were asked to respond to the survey’s question on who they would support if today were the presidential primaries.

Nearly a third of Democrats, or 34%, said they would vote for Biden, but it was not enough to win a majority. Former first lady Michelle Obama was in second place with 11% of the vote, followed by Vice President Kamala Harris (9%), Sen. Bernie Sanders (7%), Hillary Clinton (5%), Pete Buttigieg (4%), and Gov. Gavin Newsom (4%). Although no other candidate came close, 11% of Democrats said they were still confused about who to vote for.

However, compared to August’s study, when 30% of respondents said the same, Biden’s 34 percent represents a four-point increase.

Trump has far more support from his base than Biden does, as seen by the fact that 54% of Republicans stated they would support him in the GOP primary. This is an increase from the 53% who expressed the same sentiment in August, before the FBI’s historic Mar-a-Lago raid.

No other Republican even comes close, with former vice president Mike Pence coming in third with 8% of the vote and governor Ron DeSantis coming in second with (15 percent). No other Republican recorded a figure higher than 2%. However, 10% of Republicans stated they were still unsure.

Biden is “poor all across board among his own party, the Democrats,” according to the survey’s findings. Trump, though, is unaffected by that problem.

“He only receives 28% of the votes from women, 33% of the votes from people of color, 28% of the votes from independents, and just 30% of the votes from self-described moderates and 34% from liberals, the two ideological groups that serve as the foundation of the larger Democratic alliance.”

“In September, Trump receives 56% of the vote from women, 44% from blacks and Hispanics, and 48% from independents. He receives 59% of the vote from conservatives and 44% from moderates, the GOP’s two pillars. No other contender, regardless of demographic group, is now within single figures of Trump’s support.”

In the summer, Trump told New York Magazine, “Well, within my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, and so nothing factors in anymore,” in a strong signal that he would run for president in 2024.

He stated that “his major choice would be whether to go prior to or after the midterms.”

  1. America Vote out the Nazis AKA the democratic party and Rino’s and progressives Next election We The People Demand our country back from the Evil Politicians in Washington DC swamp

  2. I cannot understand how even one American citizen with a brain, even a democrat, could vote for Joe Biden now, unless like Obama, you really hate America. The country was great in every aspect under Trump, and down in the toilet under Biden.
